Joey is a strong skating, extremely competitive two-way Centerman. He is described by his coaches as someone who can be used in all situations, and a tremendous leader on and off the ice with the ability to raise his game at the biggest times. Very solid on his skates and good offensive instincts, Joey enjoyed two solid years at Oswego State after transferring from University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
